Alberta Health Services: Addiction Counselling and Prevention Services

Provides confidential counselling, treatment, information and referrals to individuals who have substance and/or gambling related concerns. Residential youth detox offers voluntary detox services for youth 17 and under to safely withdraw from drugs and/or alcohol for up to 10 days.

Provide mental health consultation, assessment and treatment services to persons experiencing significant emotional and mental health difficulties.

Grief and anger management groups and counselling. Individual, family and couple counselling. FASD Community Outreach Program provides advocacy and support for children and families impacted by FASD.

At the drop-in centre, two youth outreach workers and a program coordinator build relationships by providing crisis counselling and a wide range of supports.
